Questions About Business Coaching and MentoringNo one ever tells you or answers the question how long will I need to work with a mindset and marketing business coach?

The truth and what no one ever tells is that there is no perfect answer. It truly is based on what you want to get out of your life, business and the coaching commitment. If you’re looking for a magic bullet, stairway to heaven then coaching most likely is not the best answer. Real coaching is a powerful and influential collaboration and partnership to guide you to greater growth and increasing your influence, impact and income.

As you may be aware some coaches offer short-term packages and others choose to work with people and businesses that are fully committed to greater and lasting results. In any case, real coaching and training should never be considered as magic bullets, as this will set you up for false expectations and certainly a lot of disappointment. Magic bullets are a temporary solution or like a band-aid until the real problem can be resolved. This works in some areas of our business, such as when our computer is acting up and we need a magic bullet and to get us to the expert to diagnose and fix the real issue with our computer.

Growth, increasing your influence, impact and income are achieved from decisions that are made from commitment, and a “magic bullet” approach is not supportive of long term, “I will do whatever it takes” commitment. Do you spark a breakthrough towards growth and your daring big dreams and goals and then stop at some point, or are you fully 100% committed to achieving the end result? This is where you need to be really honest and ask yourself: when allowing for personal and business growth, is there such a thing as a “magic bullet?” Only you can answer that. If you full understand that life and growth to increase your influence, impact and income is not a destination but a journey.

How do I know if mindset and marketing business coaching will work for me or my business?

Any good coach worth their weight in gold will tell you that there are three essential traits that are critical for real coaching and training to be highly effective and are good indicators if coaching will work for you: Craving, rock solid commitment and discipline. If a strong craving is missing, then the willingness and motivation to be fully open to fresh ideas, to look at things from a different perspective, the willingness to transform behaviours and increase good habits is missing. When that is missing it’s enormously hard to be committed to growth, and increasing your influence, impact and income. Without a rock solid commitment, the discipline to follow through on the essential actions that create constructive habits for transformation that support growth won’t happen.

I’m doing fine in business right now. How valuable is real coaching for me and or my business growth?

Well, that is up to the value you place on growth and increasing your influence, impact and income as a person or thought leader as well as the business. Only you can choose how valuable your future is to you. It comes down to asking yourself, “Do you value your future growth and increasing your influence, impact and income strongly enough to invest in yourself and the business?

Now that you have read all of the information, you may be considering coaching. But before you do that I want to help clarify the real value of coaching, and have you simply ask yourself these questions:

If you as a person or business had a clear why, purpose and daring big dreams and goals that were in total alignment, that allowed everyone on your team to be going all in the same direction and were living each day intentionally, clearly, focused, balanced how valuable would that be to you and your business?

  • How would that transform your life and/or business?
  • How would that transform the life of those around you, your team or your clients?
  • How much more time, balance and freedom would it bring you?
  • What are the cost to you and your business in time, happiness, results, influence, impact and income if you stay where you are at now?

How you answered these questions will allow you to determine how valuable and beneficial real coaching is to you and your business. You get to chose. You either chooses to play full out and live life like you mean it, move forward or not. There is no in-between.
